Position: Site Engineer
Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Dip/B-Tech)
Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years in relevant field
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction activities at project sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, and provide guidance to site personnel as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, work orders, and material requisitions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to address any technical or logistical challenges.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Dip/B-Tech).
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in site engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
