Position: Storekeeper
Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years in relevant field
Education: Graduate in any field
Skills: Computer savvy
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of materials, equipment, and supplies in the construction site store.
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of goods, ensuring they meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Organize and maintain the layout of the store to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of items.
- Issue materials and supplies to construction crews and subcontractors as per requisitions and work orders.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages and disruptions.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols to protect the integrity of store assets.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and stock movements as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Graduate in any field.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures related to store operations.
